Performs as a presenter of information on news and other station programs covering news stories. Will fill in the anchor position as needed. Is part of the “face” the station presents to its audience and, as such, represents KTLA-TV to the public. Writes and/or proofreads stories on assigned broadcasts. Reads newspapers and magazines to stay informed on current events. Works with producers, reporters and associate producers on assigned news broadcast.
College degree or equivalent. Prefer an individual who has reported for a minimum of three years in a major market and who has either anchored a regularly scheduled news broadcast or hosted a show on a commercial or public television station.
