Teens Rescued After Car Plunges Off Cliff

GLENDORA, Calif. (KTLA) — Fouglendora-picr teens were rescued early Thursday after their car plunged 200 feet off a cliff in Glendora.

The Nissan Sentra went over the right embankment on Glendora Mountain Road near mile marker six just before 12:30 a.m., according to the CHP.

One of the vehicle’s occupants was able to climb out of the car and reach the road to call authorities.

L.A. County firefighters say the teens range in age from 17 to 19. Their injuries were serious, but they are all expected to survive.

Two teens were airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital, while two others were taken by ambulance to Foothill Community Hospital.

It’s unclear what caused teh crash, but authorities say they may ahve been racing, because it’s common in the area.
