A shooting took place Friday night inside the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Two people were shot near the front entrance to the Excalibur before 9pm.
One of the victims, a female, was taken to Las Vegas University Medical Center in critical condition. She later died from her wounds. The other victim, a male, apparently killed himself with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Las Vegas Police said the woman was a vendor at the hotel’s concierge desk, but neither the gunman nor the victim was identified. The relationship between the shooter and the victim wasn’t immediately clear.

Alright what the fuck, four mass shootings in a week. If this is not enough to ban assault rifles and glocks, I don't know what is. Yes the Second Amendment gives every American the right to bear arms, but I think when 10,000+ lives are lost every year due to the stupid interpretation of this amendment, there's something wrong.

It was a scary scene and a sense of extreme confusion. Within 30 minutes employees moved about as if nothing happened while their guests were left dazed and unsure of what we should do next. I will NEVER stay at or visit another MGM property. Upon check out there was not an apology or acknowledgement of the double murder that took place only hours earlier. In the AM the drape was gone, counter was spotless, Carpet cleaned, Concierge Desk fully staffed, Santa photo shoot back on, no more police tape….business as usual. The thing they couldn't change was the sadness that loomed…the knowing of what took place nor the smell of death. May that poor young lady Rest in Peace. ~Dismayed~
