This is the most tragic loss any parent could ever endure & if this country,if this Congress, and if "the commander in chief" don't take a stand to demand that all people with assault weapons be stopped…34 people dying from gun shot wounds EVERY DAY in this country is horrific….and totally avoidable if we as a country insist that the 1994 law be reinstated. 40% of the people who buy guns in this country do NOT have to go through the federally mandated background check.
A gunman opened fire in a Connecticut elementary school on December 14, killing 26 people — 20 of them children. All of the children were either 6 or 7 years old. The gunman also killed his mother, police said.
