1999 Jewish Community Center Shooting Survivors Call For Action

For many in Southern California, the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut brought back memories of the 1999 rampage at the Jewish Community Center in Granada Hills.   On August 10, 1999, white supremacist Buford O. Furrow, Jr. walked into the lobby of the North Valley Jewish Community Center and opened fire with a semiautomatic weapon, killing three children and wounding several more people.

Friday afternoon, KTLA 5 Christina Pascucci spoke with a family impacted by that tragedy who now hope lawmakers will take action on gun control.
