BOYLE HEIGHTS, Calif. (KTLA) — One person was killed and two others were injured when a car slammed into a pole in Boyle Heights.
It happened just after 2 a.m. on East Fourth Street and Boyle Avenue.
The violent impact of the crash crushed one side of the car and sent pieces flying across the street.
One victim had to be extricated from the vehicle. The cause of the crash is now under investigation.
