SANTA CLARITA, CAlif. — A 58-year old woman is accused of stealing UPS and Fed-Ex packages from front porches in the area.
Residents have been reporting stolen packages since early December.
One resident said they saw a woman taking packages from a neighbor’s porch, the sheriff’s department said in a statement.
Burglary detectives were able to identify 58-year-old Mariola Gorak-Doughlin, who resides in Saugus area.
A search warrant at her home revealed several pieces of property allegedly stolen from five separate victims.
Gorak-Doughlin was arrested at her home on grand theft charges.

Not every package is one w/ a "gift" inside. Sometimes people just get work related stuff. Seriously, ripping people off like this is WRONG!!!

While I don't agree with the Taliban's Sharia Law, removal of the thief's offending hand sounds OK to me…
