Open Carry? What an idiotic idea. So, let me get this straight. You think if the victim had been armed, he would not have been shot? How does that work? Does he wave his gun at the other idiot so that guy doesn't shoot? Does he just shoot back so we have bullets flying all over the highway? You haven't even begun to think this through, have you? The clear and obvious fact is that more guns will cause more gun use. More shots does not equal more safety. So, gun crazies, open carry (or hidden carry or whatever crackpot idea you come up with next) will not make us safer. It will create more violence. But then you don't reallyo care about that, do you? You goal is just more guns 'cuz you like guns, don't you? Like children with toys. The problem is we don't want children making our laws, do we?

      D. Maddock,

You obviously have not been in an open carry state. If you knew random people in a room were carrying a weapon, would you draw your gun out in anger and start shooting? No. Do you wonder why schools and offices get shot up and NOT gun stores? Get my drift?

I'm from Arizona (an open Carry state) myself and I open carry some of these Californians are dumber than a box of rocks .Well Said Common sense.

Schools are being shot up because the powers that be are trying to take away our right to bear arms so they are systematically sending manchurian candidates to kill people. God is watching. He is righteous and will judge these crimes. America is too self involved and blind to seek the truth. More is coming I am sure.

Two possibilities here. 1) You work for anti gun folks 2) You just don't care if they take away our Constitutional rights!

How about considering this?? The gunman at the recent Oregon Mall was detered because of a citizen who WAS ARMED!!! We were guaranteed the right to bear arms and protect ourselves. Too bad this does not mean anything to you.

damn. i doubt the victim didn't do anything to provoke the situation. he may have been the agressor and the shooter had no choice to shoot. i woulda just shot at his tires. this guy was obviously trying to kill. why am i typing this ? i have better things to do.

Omg my husband passes by there every morning on his way to work. People like that shouldn’t be allowed to drive. Take a mental test or something
