Two Boys Killed in Santa Fe Springs Car Crash

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. (KTLA) –Two brothers, ages 11 and 13, were killed when the car they were in slammed into a power pole on Los Nietos Road Friday night.

Their 33-year-old father was behind the wheel of the Honda Civic, which was sheared in half from the force of the impact.

He was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.

Witnesses say the victims’ car lost control after it was cut off by another vehicle.

The driver of that car reportedly kept driving eastbound on Los Nietos Road and did not stop after the wreck.

Stefan Chase reports.
