SAN BERNARDINO (KTLA) — A 20-year-old man was killed and two others injured at an “end of the world” bash in San Bernardino Friday night.
Officials say the apocalypse-themed party at a home in the 1300 block of 7th Street started turning sour as the end of the night approached.
As midnight neared, the event had grown to as many as 100 people and a fight had broken out between two partygoers, prompting calls to police to investigate.
When police arrived at 11:56 p.m., they found a 29-year-old man had been stabbed in the altercation.
While responding to the first incident, a shooting happened nearby that investigators believe stemmed from the original scuffle.
Two men were wounded in the shooting, including 20-year-old San Bernardino resident Felipe Jason Moreno, who was later pronounced dead.
Moreno’s 22-year-old cousin was also injured.
A statement released by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department made no mention of a suspect.

this is sad people don't have to die like this at a stupid party to celebrate as they say not the end of the world, were people go to have fun instead they find deft … they need to stop this big parties were all kinds of people gather up and up to know good…. my prayers and deepest condolences to the family ….rest in peace … god give the family strength,comfort,peace and abundance in life … sorry for your loss, god bless

They should have smoked up instead. They would have been pondering the secrets of the universe instead of stabbing each other.
We go to parties now and then in San Bernardino (for weddings and such), but they are in general well-behaved. The last one we attended was not in the best part of town, but they had security guards and people watching over the beer coolers to make sure that visibly drunk people weren't going for more.

If you visit, shop, eat, drive through or live in San Bernardino it can be the end of the world for you. I hear the city went BK and they reduced the size of the PD and yet have the highest murder rate in the IE.

I thought Rialto was the worst? Both SB and Rialto leave a lot to be desired. I read somewhere that almost half the population of SB is on public assistance. I'm glad we could finally move out of there a couple of years ago. I used to have some civic pride for SB and went to all the events (Orange Show, Route 66 Rendezvous, etc.) but it has really turned into a hellish shadow of the proud and historic city it once was.
