
ALTADENA (KTLA) — Detectives are searching for the driver of a car who shot at an off-duty Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy in Altadena.
According to officials, the deputy, who was not named, was driving with his brother in his personal car near Harriett Street and Lincoln Avenue around 3:45 a.m. on Saturday.
A dark-colored Lexus sedan pulled alongside the driver’s side of the deputy’s car and fired three shots.
The driver then sped away from the scene. Neither the suspect nor the vehicle was found.
The car was struck by one bullet. The deputy and his brother were unhurt in the shooting.
The deputy’s name was not released.
Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
