PASADENA — The Rose Parade is still four days away, but preparations are in full swing.

The grandstands are just about in place.

The floats are just about ready … and the fans … can’t wait ..literally.

At the Rose Bowl, those who can’t wait are getting a behind the scenes look at what makes some of those floats look so good on TV.

With a little help this morning from the Rose Queen and the ladies of the Royal Court the Pasadena Convention and Visitors Bureau is also kicking into high gear.

They are manning a hotline that will be operational all weekend to answer questions for parade visitors.

In addition to telling visitors  all the things they can do, they’ll also inform what you cannot do, such as camping along the parade route New Year’s Eve.

Among the no no’s: no alcohol’s allowed.

No tents and sofas.

No ladders to try and get a better view.

And no roping off your area.

For more info call 877-793-9911 – the visitor hotline.
