LOS ANGELES — A new winter storm is expected to cause the snow level to drop to 4,000 feet, potentially causing traffic problems along the Grapevine.
The National Weather Service warned of hazardous driving conditions on Interstate 5 in the Tejon Pass and on mountain roads.
Up to 2 inches of snow could be dumped in those areas though Sunday.
The Los Angeles basin will see a 70% chance of rain Saturday and Saturday night.
The National Weather Service warned of slippery roadways with .10 to .33 inches of rain in Los Angeles and Ventura counties.
Conditions are expected to clear Sunday, with partly cloudy skies to start the week.
