LAKESIDE, Calif. — Three people killed Saturday in a small plane crash in eastern San Diego County have been identified as a Phoenix-area mother, father and daughter.
The medical examiner identified the three as a 65-year-old man, a 53-year-old woman and their 19-year-old daughter.
No names were revealed. The family was returning to Phoenix.
Their Lancair Turbine aircraft crashed shortly after takeoff from Montgomery Field in San Diego.
The crash occurred on a rugged hillside near Lakeside. The family’s dog was also killed in the crash.

How can the heading of this article say the family was identified with no identity given. Sad story but heading is deceiving.
