Rose Parade 2013: Do’s and Don’ts for Campers
PASADENA, Calif. (KTLA) — Final preparations are reaching a fever pitch for the 124th Rose Parade that rolls out on New Year’s Day in Pasadena.
Parade organizers are reminding people heading out to claim their spots along Colorado Boulevard about some important guidelines.
Parade-goers can stake out their spots on the sidewalk after noon on Monday. At 11 p.m., you can move up to the blue line along the parade route.
Campers can use small barbeques as long as they are off the ground and away from anything that can catch fire. You must also have a fire extinguisher handy.
Anyone who is under 18 must be supervised by an adult.
No alcohol or bonfires are allowed, and you cannot rope off areas. Sofas are also prohibited, and you cannot use boxes as seats.
You can’t sell any items or spaces along the route, and there’s no throwing of projectiles allow.
