I hope everyone is okay but I also hope they don't decide to close the ride after this sad accident. It has to be one of the oldest rides but its only gotten better. It really gives Knott's a taste of the old West and doesn't just pretend with overdone decorations like most parks.

Sadly KBF has already lost most of its "taste of the old west" with all the roller coasters looming overhead and the giant legs of the tracks all over the park. Even their actors at the west show felt and showed that their show has been invaded by the coasters. We just took our grandchildren on the stagecoach a couple of weeks ago. I hope everyone was ok yesterday, including the horses. (which no one has commented on them by the way). Hopefully, we will be able to ride the stagecoach again on our next visit.

Just visited the theme park on February 17, 2013 for the first time. Being a cowboy from the Midwest and now living in California, I loved the park! After getting on the stagecoach ride and going up the first slope, the back horse was startled and fell, the park crew was very quick to handle the situation, the horses were removed for our safety and the fallen horse was eventually able to stand up on its own. The horse was given considerable love and affection afterwards to calm it, which I know is important from owning my own horses. The management team was very concerned about our safety and very apologetic to us, accidents will happen but DO NOT let that keep you from enjoying this great ride and I highly recommend the stagecoach ride every time you visit!!! We are planning to go back and this ride is on the top of my list to do first!!! Thank you KNOTT'S BERRY FARM for giving this cowboy a feel of the old west here in California!!!!!!
