REDONDO BEACH, Calif. (KTLA) — Police in Redondo Beach are searching for a suspect who stabbed two teenagers inside the South Bay Galleria.
The attacks happened near the mall’s movie theaters on Saturday night.
The victims — a boy and a girl — underwent surgery and are now listed in stable condition.
Police describe the suspect as a black male between 40 and 50 years old.
He is said to be tall with a medium build. He had a beard and mustache and wore prescription glasses.
Investigators said he used a kitchen knife to stab the teens. Authorities have not yet determined a possible motive.
Police are hoping surveillance cameras from the mall will provide some information.

Perhaps the assailant was unaware that the City of Redondo Beach has banned the possession of all weapons in all public places. Had he known, I am certain the stabbing would never have occurred.

If only people were able to exercise their god-given right to bear arms! I'm sure a firefight outside a movie theater would calm our nerves and bring those no-goodniks to a swift and implacable justice.
