SEAL BEACH — One of Southern California’s most iconic restaurants is closing.
The Ruby’s diner at the end of the Seal Beach pier will soon shut its doors for good.
The 50′s themed diner will serve its final burger in Seal Beach next Thursday.
The company’s other diners on the Oceanside, Balboa and Huntington Beach piers, will all stay open.
Ruby’s is also planning to launch a quick serve model restaurant in several Orange County malls.

This is my mom's favorite restaurant to come to for a decent American breakfast with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean. We even made it onto the LA Times website because the two of us, mother and daughter linking arms, braved a storm to dine at Ruby's diner. This news is very sad for us indeed.

do not forget to mention that Ruby's Diner hires illegal people to work for them and they know about it.
