Family, Friends Search for Missing Canyon Country Teen

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KTLA) — The search continues for a teenage girl who has been missing since leaving a New Year’s Eve party in Santa Clarita.

Sarah Alarid, 19, of Canyon Country, left the party around 3 a.m., saying she was going home, according to friends.

She was driving a 2002 silver Ford Focus hatchback, license plate No. 4WXE737.

Friends of Sarah tell KTLA News that the party she attended on New Year’s Eve prior to her disappearance was held at 29115 Poppy Meadow St. in Canyon Country.

Saturday (Jan. 5) friends and family once again took to the streets, passing out updated flyers made by the LA County Sheriff’s Department regarding Alarid’s disappearance.
