SANTA MONICA – The New Year 2013 did not begin well for actor Josh Brolin.
The celebu-site TMZ reports that Brolin was arrested just before midnight on New Year’s Day in Santa Monica for public intoxication.
Brolin was booked into jail around 3 a.m., then released by around 7 a.m.
TMZ reports that Brolin was not given a citation for the arrest. That means he will not have to go to court, and the incident is closed.
Brolin was reportedly celebrating the New Year with friends on the night of his arrest, and ended up having “too much fun.”
