BRAZIL (KTLA) — Police in Brazil are investigating an incident where a cat taped with a saw and a mobile phone wandered into a prison.
Prison guards noticed the cat crossing the main gate into the prison yard with its body wrapped in duct tape.
After closer inspection, authorities also found that the cat was carrying drills, an earphone, a memory card, batteries, and a phone charger.
Investigators say they don’t know who was behind the plot, so all 263 prison inmates are currently suspects.

The CAT did not smuggle those things in. It, the CAT, was victimized by a PERSON who wanted to smuggle those things in. Imagine what it must have felt like to get all that tape ripped off of the cat. It was probably euthanized so it wouldn't continue to frequent that area. I hate people sometimes.

I agree Mojo. I feel really bad for the cat. I hope he / she is okay. But I fear it will be put down. Really sad.

I don't understand why you think the cat would be put down. They could shave it to get the tape off without killing it. And someone said it might be euthanized to prevent it from going back to that area. So you're saying they don't have animal adoptions in Brazil? Really?
