This year’s flu season could be a bad one.

The Centers for Disease Control reports that nearly 30 states are reporting high flu-like activity, up from 16 the week before.

So far, more than 2200 people have been hospitalized with flu-like symptoms across the country this flu season.  Eighteen children have died from influenza.
