ANAHEIM, Calif. (KTLA) — Now that NHL hockey is back, the Honda Center in Anaheim is looking to hire more than 100 part-time workers.
Employees at the arena are working quickly to get ready for the Anaheim Ducks to return to the ice.
An end to the month’s-long NHL lockout is expected this week with the ratification of a new labor deal.
For each game, the Honda Center needs about 1,000 workers to run the venue.
It is looking to immediately hire more ushers, parking attendants, food servers and other employees.
The schedule has yet to be announced, but the first NHL games will be on January 19.
