WOODLAND HILLS (KTLA) – Police in Woodland Hills say an armed and dangerous robber is on the run.
According to police spokesmen, the robber broke into a home in Woodland Hills shortly after midnight on Saturday (Jan. 12).
The break-in occurred at a gated apartment complex in the 6100 block of Glade Avenue.
The suspect made his way into a unit on the 4th floor of the complex and held the resident inside at gunpoint.
Police say the robber then made off with more than $6,000 in cash, fleeing on foot.
Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect is urged to call police in Woodland Hills.

Let's see…. broke into an apartment complex and happened to pick an apartment that had $6,000 cash in it! Sounds like the perp knew where he was going and that a large amount of cash was inside.
I mean I hate it when I don't have at least $6K laying around the house!

Anyone with six grand around the house is extremely stupid. While stupidity doesn't deserve to be robbed, I can't really feel all that sorry for the them.

I bet the ones robbed did not believe in owning a firearm, for self defence. I wonder if this little event may have changed their minds.

Yep, everyone's dream… apartments on both sides with both owners having "self defense" handguns.

I'm sure this case will be solved quickly. Whoever did it had to have inside information that the apartment resident had $6000 on hand. Either that, or he is a very lucky robber.
