Man Arrested After Wild Stolen Vehicle Pursuit

pursuit-arrestINGLEWOOD, Calif. (KTLA) — A man was taken into custody after leading Inglewood police on a wild chase in a stolen vehicle.

It started around 11 p.m. Sunday. LAPD officers pursued the stolen car until they deployed spike strips just after 1 a.m.

The suspect displayed gang signs and wove dangerously in and out of traffic during the two-hour pursuit.

KTLA spoke to one commuter who was nearly hit by the suspect.

“I had clocked out for work and he comes right by me and almost T-boned me,” Luke Malbry recalled.

“There’s a lot of people out here at one o’clock in the morning. I see a lot of kids right now outside, so I’m glad he didn’t hit anybody.”

Once his left tire blew out, the suspect surrendered and was arrested. Police said he had a number of weapons in the car.

By "kids" he could have been referring to late teens, early 20s.

Inglewood gets a bad name, not everything in Inglewood is bad/ghetto, the Avenue's have nice homes where Blacks/Hispanics and even a few Whites live on the same street in harmony!

Aside from its heritage significance, it also has a sentimental value as it is a constant remembrance of the glory of the yesteryears. Indeed, let’s bring back the oldies but goodies to our lives and enjoy the retro fashion.
