NEW YORK — In New York, police officers acted like super heroes to rescue a man trapped under a taxi.

In the video, you can see officers from the 40th precinct in the Bronx lift the 3,800-pound car.

The rescue took place seconds after the victim ran into the street and was struck and pinned under the taxi.

The man was taken to a hospital and was listed in critical condition. The taxi driver will not face charges.
