SLIDELL, LA. – From the stupid criminal files: meet the aptly named “Buckethead Burglar”.
The 23-year old suspect is a former employee of Kenney’s Seafood Restaurant.
He plopped a plastic 5-gallon bucket over his head to hide his identity when he tried to rob the eatery.
Problem was — he couldn’t see where he was going and had to repeatedly lift the barrel to catch his bearings.
The restaurant’s security cameras caught an image of his face when he was momentarily bucket-less.
Police quickly identified him — and traded the bucket for a set of handcuffs.
