LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (KTLA) A near-disaster caught on camera near Lake Tahoe.
A skier triggered an avalanche on Echo Peak and was buried, until other managed to dig him out.
The whole thing was captured on a helmet-cam.
The buried skier wasn’t seriously injured — but admits he and the others made a lot of mistakes.
The biggest was skiing above a ridgeline that was prone to slides.
But the rescuers also wasted a lot of valuable time checking out their gear and fussing with their gloves instead of digging.

WHO SAYS!!!! No attribution!!! And this accusation is NOT in the video story. And this from a so-called "30-year veteran of L.A. news"????? KTLA needs to up its game BEFORE it gets sued.
SHAMEFUL REPORTING!!!!!
