SAN PEDRO, Calif. (KTLA) — Friends and family are pressuring police to take action after the beating of a young girl by two adults outside a middle school in San Pedro.
About a dozen people protested outside the LAPD’s Harbor Division over the weekend. They want police to take swift action.
Investigators say they are working on the case and don’t believe the attack was racially motivated.
The girl admits that she was planning to fight another student after school.
But when she showed up at the meeting place, she was jumped by the two adults.
Another student videotaped the fight and posted it to Facebook.
