HIDDEN HILLS (KTLA) – In what now appears to be the latest example of hoaxsters ‘swatting’ the celebrity community, L.A. County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crank call Friday (Jan. 18) at the Hidden Hills home of Bruce and Kris Jenner.
There was no one home when deputies arrived, but they were able to eventually confirm that the family was fine and at a different location, officials said.
Kris Jenner is the mother of Kim Kardashian and her sisters. Kendall Jenner Insta-Grammed photos of the deputy response to the scene after someone reported a shooting inside the home of the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” stars.
A sheriff’s spokesman said on Saturday that authorities were investigating whether the Kardashian family is the latest victim of a celebrity “swatting” incident, in which a crank caller falsely alleges violence is occurring at a star’s home.
Other celebrities have been victimized by such hoaxes, including Tom Cruise and Ashton Kutcher.

I hope hoaxes are considered a felony,because when a suspect is caught calling in these hoaxes,they should be arrested and punished to the full extent of the law.
