HARBOR CITY, Calif. (KTLA) — About two dozen people were involved in a pepper spray incident at Narbonne High School Wednesday morning, according to fire officials.
The incident was reported on the campus in the 24300 block of S. Western Avenue about 10:45 a.m.
Authorities said a female student was involved in an altercation with another female student when she used the pepper spray.
Twenty-five students and two faculty members who were sprayed during the commotion were examined for pepper spray exposure, according to officials.
Two students were transported to Torrance Memorial Medical Center in fair condition. No one was seriously hurt in the incident.
Harbor Division police said the girl brought pepper spray to school because she thought she might be assaulted.
She was detained by Los Angeles Unified School Police.
