LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — A possible murder suspect has been arrested after a seven-hour rooftop standoff with police in Jefferson Park.
It all began around 8 p.m. Tuesday. Police were looking for a murder suspect, and believed the man had some connection to the crime.
Officers tried to stop and talk to the man, but he was uncooperative and jumped onto the roof of a building, refusing to come down.
The suspect was not armed, but he remained on the roof for almost seven hours.
According to police, around 2 a.m., the suspect was shot with bean bags.
He sustained injuries from trying to jump from the roof, but they weren’t believed to be serious. He was arrested and taken to the hospital.

Why did he not just jump off?
That would have saved thousands of taxpayers paying for his free legal defense, free room and board, free meals, free gym membership, free medical, psychological, dental, vision, education he can take advantage of if he so chooses, etc…

The should have sent the dog up there and the bad would have come down real fast, the hard way.

"Right smack dab in the middle of town
I've found a paradise that's trouble proof (up on the roof)
And if this world starts getting you down
There's room enough for two
Up on the roof (up on the roof)"

One shot one kill, SWAT snipers were in position. Could have saved finacial and time resources for all.
