SAN BERNARDINO (KTLA) — A San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputy was released on bail Thursday after being arrested for allegedly having consensual sexual contact with an inmate.
Investigators received information of alleged improper sexual conduct between Deputy Johnathan Miller, 27, and a 25-year-old female inmate at the Glen Helen Rehabilitation Center, according to a news release from sheriff’s department.
Authorities interviewed Miller, searched his home and placed him under arrest Wednesday, according to the department.
Miller, who was booked into West Valley Detention Center, posted a $25,000 bond Thursday and was placed on paid administrative leave, according to a Los Angeles Times report.
Anyone with information on the case was asked to call the department’s Specialized Investigations Division at (909) 387-3589.

When it's a female officer having sex with a male inmate the only thing that typically happens is termination from their position.

Did it say "Consensual Sexual Contact With An Inmate"??? what a joke…wrong is wrong and that's it. even if the woman allowed it. the Deputy knows right from wrong. this is miss-use of his giving powers that goes against what he took an oath on…shame on him…

So he commits a crime will working, under color of authority and he gets a paid vacation???? Go figure. And California wonders why the rest of the states out there laugh at us. I wonder if this is what uncle Jerry had in mind when he said Cali sets the standard for other states. Maybe he just left out the last two words "in stupidity".
