DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — 49-year-old wife and mother Marta Michel was a regular at Casa India Restaurant.

For the last two years she would go there alone just about every Saturday, have some food and a beer or two and visit with friends and staff members.

“She was always happy and talked to us all the time,” said restaurant manager Sonia Nolasco

Friends and family are baffled that one week ago, after leaving Casa India around midnight and apparently heading home, Marta vanished.

“I saw her waiting for the bus at the corner of 4th and Broadway. That’s the last time I saw her. Something bad must have happened to her,” Nolasco said.

Marta stands 4’11″ and weighs about 160 pounds.

She has a limp and was last seen wearing a black skirt with a black- and-grey-striped long sleeve shirt.
