LAist.com Food Editor, Krista Simmons is here with three local restaurants to show us their great catering menu for your Super Bowl party.
Here is more info on the restaurants featured on the Morning Show:
Bludso’s: Kevin Bludso’s Compton spot is arguably the best ‘que West of Texas. While you anxiously await the opening of their collabo with Golden State over in Mid-City, you can grab a spread for your Super Bowl party at a really decent price. Their stellar smoked beef brisket goes for $15.50/lb. When it comes to sides, we recommend their mac and cheese and collard greens. Top it off with a pan of banana pudding and you’ll be happy no matter who wins.
Heirloom LA: Heirloom LA’s cupcake lasagnes are the perfect handheld treat for game day. They’re equally as tasty as they are darling, and they elegantly break up the typical chips and dip spread. Their winter package includes our favorite flavor, veal osso buco with saffron and parmesan. They also have plenty of vegetarian options. Six cupcakes runs $54.
Beachwood BBQ: Gabe Gordon is smoking up some chicken wings on an apple and pecan wood blend for game day. They’re tossed in a spicy I.P.A. chili sauce, and comewith celery sticks and rosemary bleu cheese dressing. Two dozen wings goes $20. They also have smoked chicken nachos that serve 10 for $20. And if you’re taking your food to go, there are $3 off growler fills on Super Bowl Sunday.
