A new Volkswagen Super Bowl ad is causing some controversy, with some saying the spot is racist.
The ad is part of the company’s new “Get in. Get happy” campaign.
New York Times columnist Charles Blow criticized it as being “like blackface with voices.”
Volkswagen is standing by the commercial, saying it is designed to brighten the viewer’s day.

No to me this is not racist, if they had used the song “don’t worry be happy” everybody would be laughing and saying thats cool. People just have to make something out of nothing, these people are just instigators, maybe they are just superbowl haters.

Blow blows! I don’t believe the ad does much to help create any demand for VW cars, but racist it is not.
