The celebration of Black History Month began back in 1926 and today the February tradition is still going strong.
To observe this important time — all month-long, KTLA will pay respect to ‘LA Dreamers – Our African-American Pioneers’.
In this Vignette, Avi Bernard takes a look at the extraordinary commitment of Congresswoman Karen Bass.
To find out more about Karen Bass and other LA Dreamers, The Los Angeles Urban League has a special free exhibit called ‘The 90 That Built LA’.

The NEGROS were WAAAAAAAY different in 1926 than they are today. They respected the laws of this land, AND were actually civil. Boy, those days are sure gone forever.

why was my comment deleted and the two racist ones against blacks above get to stay?

Is the site administrator the one posting the racist comments against Blacks?

There are certain words that if typed will be autimatically deleted without an administrator even reading it. With the IntenseDebate system, every site that has it can pick and choose which words are forbidden. I get deleted all the time, nothing personal..

Yeah, right. Like people are suppose to believe that. I'm sticking with the facts. Admins her are biased, anti-minority.

At least I know the offending administrator is getting to read all of my 100% truthful and post as he is deleting them so the public can't see the racist truth. You need to repent Administrator. You don't like minorities unless your in public.
