PICO RIVERA, Calif. (KTLA) — A man in a wheelchair was killed in a hit-and-run accident in Pico Rivera Friday morning.
It happened around 3:50 a.m. in the 8200 block of Whittier Boulevard, near Paramount Boulevard, according to police.
The victim, a Latino man between 50 and 60 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
Police say the victim was not in a crosswalk.
No information was immediately available about the suspect vehicle.
It should have front-end damage, and it was last seen going westbound on Whittier Boulevard over a bridge to Montebello.

What in the world was he doing out in his wheelchair at 3:50 a.m.? I still hope they catch whomever hit him, but that question still remains.

At that time in the morning, if the guy stopped, no problem because the guy that got hit was not in a crosswalk or at a corner. Probabily hit by a drunk or a person without a license or both. Any bets the driver has a Z in their name?
