HOLLYWOOD — A local night club is facing criminal charges related to a host of alleged safety violations.
Prosecutors filed charges Friday against the owners of Hollywood’s Supper Club including Demetri Samaha, 56, his mother, Rose Samaha, 84, and Caroline Braidi, 53.
The charges include, 17 criminal counts, including one count of conspiracy, two counts of allowing an excessive occupancy load, one count of illegal discharge of fireworks, failure to secure a building permit, and multiple fire, safety, and zoning code violations.
The action comes just days after a fire at the Kiss nightclub in Brazil killed 236 people.

If your not dead, a religious zealot or a shut in clubs can be fun, however they should be controlled and safe for everyone, club patrons and the public alike.

There are many 18+ clubs and 21+ clubs around. They are a very fun place to go if you like music, people and a good time. Like everything, safety is needed in all situations but millions of people have had a safe fun time. Fines are reasonable but nothing taking a business out overs petty violations is a crime in its self.
