STOCKTON, Calif. — Thieves used a stolen SUV to ram into the front glass entrance to a Stockton jewelry store and then smashed into display cases with hammers.
The burglars broke into the Kay Jewelers in the 10600 block of Trinity Parkway around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the suspects may not have known much about jewelry.
Apparently they didn’t take much and what they did get was the of the cheaper variety.
