WASHINGTON, D.C. — Facing questions about President Obama’s experience with firearms, the White House has released a photo of the chief executive in the act of firing one.
Obama, in an interview published by the New Republic, claimed that had used a gun at the Camp David presidential retreat. “We do skeet shooting all the time,” the president said. “Not the girls, but oftentimes guests of mine go up there.”
That prompted snickering from some of the president’s conservative critics and questions for the president’s press secretary. On Monday, Jay Carney was asked whether there was a photo of Obama shooting. “There may be, but I haven’t seen it,” the spokesman said. “When he goes to Camp David, he goes to spend time with his family and friends and relax, not to produce photographs.”
The photo released Friday shows smoke coming from the barrel as Obama holds the gun against his left shoulder. The White House caption accompanying the photo by Pete Souza, the official White House photographer, notes: “President Barack Obama shoots clay targets on the range at Camp David, Md., Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012.”
Obama has made addressing gun violence one of his major priorities in his second term. In the New Republic interview, he explained that he had “profound respect for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations.” But he also noted that “the reality of guns in urban areas are very different from the reality of guns in rural areas,” where he said children often grow up hunting with their families. “You can see why you’d be pretty protective of that,” he continued. “So it’s trying to bridge those gaps that I think is going to be part of the biggest task over the next several months.

KTLAs another bold attempt trying to go along with the White Houses bold attempt to show the President was not lying….They claim this picture was taken on his birth day (8/4/12) at Camp David when in FACT if KTLA would have done their research news ports had him playing gold all day and going to Camp David only in the evening which only shows that the President covered up a lie only with another one….Look it up folks….I did

Is it possible for you to bring yourself out of your conspiracy theory fantasies long enough to actually think? He could have played golf for five hours that day, flown to Camp David and shot a few rounds of skeet in the late afternoon. In fact, the golf photo released on August 4th shows him under bright sunlight and the skeet photo shows him in light that appears to be later in the day. It is possible to play golf and skeet shoot in one day – he might have even gone for a swim or played ping-pong with his daughters too – who knows! He likely doesn't want to be photographed skeet shooting because he may very well suck at it while playing golf seems to be something he does well (and a sport that is more popular in this country). Okay, you can go back to your fantasy conspiracy theory land now.

the president is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, and the highest diplomat to foreign nations. America is not that powerful seems how it can't manage it's own problems of a fiscal crisis let alone, on top of more than 6 school shootings in the past 3 months, let alone the problems that the rest of the world is bringing like the trade deficit with China. It's no wonder why mark is mad, it's because that idiot Obama is killing jobs by raising taxes. To make matters worse, he is forcing Employers to cut full time jobs with the Health Care Overhaul that incarcerates anybody with an inability to buy decent healthcare (over 1M Americans in a federal penitentiary, picture that democrat). He is trying to take away the 2nd Amendment of our Constitution while shooting guns for fun. It's total hypocrisy and he's lying to disguise it as "proof"? Take a look around Abra Cadabra. The most powerful person in the world is Hu Jintao, and he owns every single American job on Figueroa St. Every single Penny in the White House is either embezzled or already paid to China. Please do us a favor, and go back to college and really learn to question authority. Obama is the laughing stock of the world stage right now. He is no JFK, or Ronald Reagan.
