NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KTLA) — A driver going the wrong way on the 170 Freeway slammed into two cars early Tuesday morning.
Witnesses called the California Highway Patrol around 3 a.m. to say a woman driver was going northbound in southbound lanes.
She hit one car north of the 134 Freeway and kept going.
The wrong-way driver then slammed into another car near Laurel Canyon Boulevard in North Hollywood.
Several people inside the second car were hurt, but the extent of their injuries was not clear.
The wrong-way driver is being tested for driving under the influence.
