RIALTO, Calif. (KTLA) — A sigalert was issued on the 210 east in Rialto Thursday morning after a big rig overturned, spilling its load of Gatorade.
The accident happened just before 5:00 a.m. on the eastbound 210 Freeway at Alder Avenue.
The driver of a big rig lost control and the truck overturned, hitting a light pole.
The CHP reported “Gatorade all over the freeway,” with bottles of the sports beverage and cans of soda spilling out of the truck.
Only the carpool open on the eastbound side as crews worked to clean up the mess.
Caltrans said it hoped to have the scene cleared by just after 9 a.m.
