Christopher Dorner’s Family Releases Statement

The mother of accused killer Christopher Dorner, Nancy Dorner, released a statement on Wednesday expressing dismay over the acts her son is accused of committing.

“It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we express our deepest sympathies and condolences to anyone that suffered losses or injuries resulting from Christopher’s actions,” she said.

“We do not condone Christopher’s actions. The family has no further comment and asks that our privacy be respected during this difficult time.”

Police have yet to identify the charred human remains found in the Angelus Oaks cabin that burned to the ground after a gun battle with a suspect, believed to be Christopher Dorner.

Authorities found Dorner’s driver’s license alongside human remains inside the cabin.

And on Wednesday, the San Bernardino County sheriff commented that the events of Tuesday brought the manhunt for Dorner to a close.

Meantime, questions remain about the cabin went up in flames. Deputies were recorded on police radio calling on a plan to bring burners into the home.

Sheriff John McMahon on Wednesday denied that authorities intentionally burned down the cabin.

There are also questions about how Dorner managed to hide in a cabin — possibly for days — that was so close to the manhunt command post and an adjacent press area.

Sheriff’s officials on Wednesday defended the search, saying deputies checked the general area extensively and didn’t see signs of forced entry at that particular cabin.

Officials said the cabin was last rented Feb. 6, a day before Dorner’s truck was found burning nearby.

You have a loser TO that LIED which got Dorner fired. The LAPD protected the scum TO that is now a Captain. The Captain that was suppose to protect him FAILED and his daughter and an innocent person died because he did not do his job. So now Dorner snaps (I don't agree with it) as everyone has a snap point. Now he is dead, 2 good officers are dead, 2 others dead, others injured kids without a dad, mother without a son, WHY? Because one scum bag TO (training officer) years ago LIED and a Captain covered it up. There folks is what happened. Wonder how that female TO now-captain feels today as she did all of this?

I doubt they have any regrets. Covering their asses is probably their main concern. From what I've learned about "the system" is that those who played a valid role in this horrible episode will BE PROTECTED at all costs in hopes that the politics and lies continue. Many people of power get off on that kind of drama no matter the risks involved..

Get a clue. The daughter and her fiance died by an act of cowardice. He lost his job, possibly unjustly, but that doesn't excuse or condemn innocent persons to death. We've all been wronged at some point but how we overcome that and succeed shows who has character and integrity and who does not. Dorner had neither and didn't even have the balls to stand up for his name in the end and took the sissy way out by killing himself, just like all the other cowards that kill for the thrill.

It was either he take his life or burn. Im sure you wouldnt want to be burned to death. Of course it was wrong he killed innocent people. His life was the LAPD and serving…He didnt have a family and kids or any other calling in life…so for him to lose that was devistating it was like losing everything. It doesnt make what he did right…but theres a bigger issue here and thats why this all happened. so the focus now needs to be put on the LAPD, because they are just as responsible.

Really? So "Just_the-FAQs" because Dorner thinks he was wronged, he has the right to kill the family, not the person he believes wronged him, but the daughter and her boyfriend? You need to put down the crack pipe and step away! I could understand if he walked up and double tapped the actual people that he thought wronged him, I wouldn't condone it but I could understand it. My question is how the hell did Dorner get past the LAPDs Psych eval? And how the hell can you even remotely think that some little old lady is Dorner and shoot her ass? What the hell happened to those idiot cops, they need to be jailed!

Your question regarding the how… re: Dorner and LAPD's Psych Evaluation Test. Are you kidding me? Really; you person??? Dorner was more level-headed than the majority of the officers that are currently there. What does crack have to do with anything, you… person? Idiots shouldn't be privy to post remarks regarding such sensitive issues if they didn't finish grade school, you, person! All Dorner wanted was to be heard… It is apparent that the young man, Dorner… an upstanding and model officer, military veteran and citizen had witnessed the maltreatment of fellow Black officers as well as ill-treatment of (minority) citizens; and wanted it to be addressed. I have been there with LAPD in terms of the aforementioned. When are federal officials going to wake up and address these matters!? The actions of MOST of the LAPD officers regarding their interactions and reactions, on and off-duty is incomprehensible. But, the chief clearly… and apparently… has a PERSONAL NO-FAULT clause, when it comes to all their obvious cover-ups and racist acts toward Black LAPD officers. White officers constantly and consistently berate their fellow Black officers; with repeat use of racial slurs/jokes, etc. while performing in-house team/brotherhood, group, work-related affairs. I cry… UNFAIR!!! So does many others. However, our cries go ignored; and un-addressed. And… per usual, the LAPD…; and believe me, I didn't expect less from them to exert any avenue to get around the bogus $1M reward for Dorner's capture. So… what'd they do? (rhetorical) Now, they're playing word games. Let me say this… LAPD, intentionally set that Big Bear Lake cabin on fire out of sheer hate and revenge. Why? Additionally, because Dorner was a Black man, ex-LAPD officer, that made them look even more stupid than they already are, with their antiquated practices; and ran them scared due to his astute military/law enforcement, physical/ psychological training tactics. The spokesperson of LAPD didn't fail to mention that he, Dorner, was smarter than the LAPD unit as a whole, beginning with him/her. :) Why, because… a hurt dog, will holler. They can dish it out; but, can't take it. Hippocrites! They, LAPD ignited that cabin fire out of sheer hate, prejudice and intimidation!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! So, before you, person… Really?, REALLY? go blasting a series of ill-written, random words… get an education, first. A hint to the wise is sufficient. However, one has to tell a fool! Good-Day!

Dorner was nothing but a LIAR. He proved that he's a LIAR by simply violating his own words in his manifesto. It's really easy to try and blame other people for your incompetence. He was mentally incompetent. He couldn't even drive a car without wrecking it into the woods. Dorner was and now forever will be stamped a mentally incompetent LIAR.

Dorner likely killed others because he couldn't get to the responsible/guilty party(ies) AND needed to speak out in the likely ONLY way he had LEFT to speak out. I do NOT condone what he did, but even reasonable, sane, sincere, nice, generous, pleasant, responsible, and good people that get stiffed by others with more/better resources AND silenced by a lack of avenues with which to speak out, feel that their only last resort is to do what he did. Out of the thousands of commentary I've read concerning this matter, NOBODY has come up with a plausible alternative for what C.Dorner could've done instead, that he hadn't already tried to do, to repair his tainted (to put it mildly) reputation. This just goes to show how good people-good AMERICANS–can and do get f*ck*d by their "own" and feel they have no other option then to 'go all Christopher Dorner' on someone's ass.

So, to respond to "Really? REALLY?" it wasn't as simple as C.D. thinking he was wronged, that he imagined he had the right to kill others, it was his thinking he was wronged AND the lack of resources/ability to speak out after being damaged, AND trying to right those 'wrongs' legally first. Its a very simple concept actually. The scales of justice were tipped against him (wrongfully), and he tried everything in his power to tip them back (for years he tried) b/4 he went all C.D. on the LAPD. NO injustice goes unpaid–very simple concept actually.

Doner did not shoot the person responsible for getting him fired, he shot his daughter. Doner will be remembered by that scum bag for the rest of his life. Which is worse?? He being shot dead or having a guilty conscience for the death of his daughter and what caused it, for the rest of his life?? I dont think Doner would have killed him. He might go insane thinking about his lies and coverup of his crocked officers and how it could have been different if he had some integrity and protected the innocent. I am certain that some things would be changed in the LADP through this unfortunate situation.

You just endorsed all kinds of killings. The guy in the theatre in Colorado just did it because he wanted to be someone bigger. The guy in CT who killed all those children just did it because he thought his mother was nicer to the kids in the classroom. The kids in Columbine did it just because they were picked on. Annette, your statement just made it ok for everyone to kill anyone that ever wronged them. Well, at least you said it was ok to kill the children of people that wronged you. I hope everyone stays away from you.

It is another corrupt action by the LAPD not not pay the reward. These people are directly responsible for them getting him. He was never going to be taken alive from the beginning and the cops wanted him dead also. He made that clear in his Manifesto…

LAPD needs to be investigated thoroughly; and IMMEDIATELY. The corruption and prejudice is alive and well. They, the LAPD haven't learned anything since the Rodney King verdict/LA Riots of '92. Really, really…!!! While I don't condone Dorner's tactics in the aftermath of his disgruntled motivated actions. For a man that was so intensive on clearing his name, clearly wanted to be heard, because for all practical purposes, he just wanted justice. And per usual, LAPD turned a deaf ear to a man that called them out for their shrewd and unprofessional practices. How many more innocent lives; and bloodshed will have to be witnessed before a federal entity gets involved and perform an extensive and thorough investigation into the practices and treatment of Black officers and minority citizens regarding the LAPD. I, personally have been a victim at the hands of ill-treatment of LAPD officers on more than one ocassion; and I am no thug; but, an educated professional… a tall, thin, beautiful Black female. I love L.A., but, am not passing out accolades with regard to the LAPD!!! Not NOW, nor EVER… until tremendous changes are made within the LAPD.

I also think she should do something about an investigation into the terrrible way they took her sons life. Chris was wrong for shooing the girl but what they did was worse. If someone had shot Chris and his Mother took it into her own hands to kill or set that person on fire, she would go to jail. What law enforcement did wasnt right. They didnt give him due process. They executed him without a trial. Even Manson and The Night Stalker who were guilty of mass murders got due process. Chris was once a well respected LAPD officer. At the least he deserved due process.

Yes you are absolutely right. This is a democatic society and every individual is entitled to a due process. I heard the audio when the officer said we pushed him back in. What exactly did he mean by that statement. Did the officers push him back in to burn to death. This is probably when he made the decision to kill himself by gun fire; insted of suffering an inhumane death. All criminals deserve the right to a fair hearing, Once again the LAPD put the law into its own hands. It is quite clear that Chis Doner had snapped and needed mental health attention that was ignited by the LAPD. I don't condone Chris's actions, but under the circumstances it could cause an individual to loose a sense of purpose and direction. He did what he was trained to do, and the LAPD betrayed him. Lost of innocent life is truly devestating. Chistopher sent a very loud and ruthless message. I believe alot of people across the country heard it,and to some agree understood it, what about the LAPD.

I think there is no worse crime than to lie on someone. They took not only his good name but his livelihood making it impossible for him to get a job or work. Being put in that position would make a lot of officers snap. I'm just surprised this situation hasnt happened with LAPD sooner and it's my guess it may happen again. I was just waiting for some other officer they had wronged and railroaded to fly over that Riverside officers funeral and drop an incendiary bomb or two.

Everyone would like to point the finger….yea he made the wrong decision on how to handle it, he should have never killed those people. But the Police have killed innocent people lots of times, so before acting like the victims think about it! I believe he was telling the truth and tried being a good person in the LAPD. He could have killed anyone in his path and didnt, even told people he didnt want to hurt them even though they ended up turning him in. I believe that TO lied and did what she did. I believe there was racism and police protecting there own. Hopefully they wake up and make changes because Im sure there are alot of other people Officers/civialians that suffer everyday because of the same kinds of actions brought on!

Dorner is just like Adam Lanza. Lanza is the kid that shot all those children up in Connecticut. He acted in the same way and ended it in the same fashion. He is a cold-blooded murderer and definitely mentally unstable. It's good he's gone and the LAPD probably should never have hired him in the first place.

Adam Lanza and Dhris Dorner arent even in the same category. Adam Lanza was just a pathethic loser who hated life. Chris Dorner was pretty much standing up for anyone that has had there lives ruined by the LAPD or other higher ranking officals. Is it right he killed those people…no. But he wasnt just on a rampage killing anyone he saw. Would you justify the LAPD killing or mistreating innocent people? what would you compare that to? is that justified?

He really is just like Adam Lanza. A non-sensical killer who hated life.
Is it possible that Dorner suffered from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) or maybe sustained some sort of brain injury? Remember Eddie Rayy Routh, the veteran that returned from military duty and then shot Navy Seal Chris Kyle? Dorner probably lied about the stress level he had when he returned from his service. I'm sure many others have lied about those stress levels too .

            Anonymous said:
            February 15, 2013 at 2:19 PM

To me it wasnt as senseless as Adam Lanza. I dont agree with him killing people by any means. But Adam went in and killed a bunch of little kids that had absolutly nothing to do with anything, He was just a coward that wanted to kill helpless kids. Christopher Dorner I believe was a good person, He was obviously very smart and made a good reputation for himself in the Military and LAPD (until he was wrongly fired) I think him serving was his LIFE. He didnt have anything else that defined him. So for him to lose that was devistating and I believe he was telling the truth. So to be fired because you were trying to be a good person…..that was a cherry on top to him. There is so much corruption and you hear enough people talking about there own expierences. So we all know its true. unfortuantly when corruption and lies go on as long as they do, eventually bad things happen. Everyone in the world fight, people die everyday for a cause. This i believe was a cause to stop something thats been going on for far to long. He admitted he was serverly depressed….so I dont know if he had PTSD. ITs a sad situation all around, but definatly could have been prevented.

    Romans 8 7 For the mind controlled by the old nature is hostile to God, because it does not submit itself to God's Torah – indeed, it cannot. 8 Thus, those who identify with their old nature cannot please God. 9 But you, you do not identify with your old nature but with the Spirit – provided the Spirit of God is living inside you, for anyone who doesn't have the Spirit of the Messiah doesn't belong to him. 10 However, if the Messiah is in you, then, on the one hand, the body is dead because of sin; but, on the other hand, the Spirit is giving life because God considers you righteous. 11 And if the Spirit of the One who raised Yeshua from the dead is living in you, then the One who raised the Messiah Yeshua from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit living in you. 12 So then, brothers, we don't owe a thing to our old nature that would require us to live according to our old nature. 13 For if you live according to your old nature, you will certainly die; but if, by the Spirit, you keep putting to death the practices of the body, you will live. 14 All who are led by God's Spirit are God's sons. 15 For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to bring you back again into fear; on the contrary, you received the Spirit, who makes us sons and by whose power we cry out, "Abba!" (that is, "Dear Father!"). 16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our own spirits that we are children of God;

Yes Ms. Dorner please do your best to find out what lapd did to you baby boy, he was pushed to hard to the brink, lapd is always getting away with s***!!! for many years, there was a reported saying look at the face of this fallen officer, he was always happy always smiling. SO WAS CHRISTOPHER!!!!! I haven't seen not ONE PICTURE where he was meanmugging no not one, He was pushed to this I could see the betrayal in his face, Ms. Dorner I pray for you I pray for you and your daughter and family sooooo hard all the while Christopher was being hunted like a savage dog, he was all alone except TheFather in Heaven was talking with him and I know Christopher consulted him. My heart is hurt everyday for all that were fallen, Please get help Ms. Dorner, i'm sure there is a lawyer out there willing to tear it all apart and find the answers you need, it won't bring back you baby boy, but some closure might help. I can imagine thru all his training the prejudice he was up against but he did make it and his smiling face in all his pictures proved that. May God Bless you and your daughter Ms. Dorner and May God Bless all the fallen and most of all May God Bless Christopher's soul. I'm on your side Ms. Dorner.
