Oscar Pistorius…was swarmed by media… as he was led into  and out of a South African  courtroom.

He buried his face in his hands…and wept…as he faced premeditated murder charges for the shooting death of his girlfriend…law graduate and model Reeva Steenkamp.

Pistorius’ father…reached out to his son..as he was led out of the courtroom.

Pistorius did not enter a plea, but his family released a statement saying the “the alleged murder is disputed in the strongest possible terms.”

It added that Pistorius wanted to “send his deepest sympathies to the family of Reeva.”

Yesterday…reports indicated the disabled athlete who made Olympic history may have accidentally shot Steenkamp before dawn on Valentine’s Day…mistaking her for an intruder.

Reports today…indicate  that 2 hours before the shooting…police were called to Pistorius’  upscale home over a loud fight involving the couple.

Officers were reportedly called back to the home at around 3am…when neighbors heard gunshots…Steenkamp was in the bathroom … shot 4 times through a bathroom door.

Pistorius appeared in court on what’s called “Black Friday” in South Africa…a day to protest violence against women.

Most homicides against women in the country are committed by their intimate partners…one of Steenkamp’s last tweets was to call on people to join the protest.

Pistorius was set to star in a new reality show that will air as scheduled.

But tonight, in jail, he is reportedly on suicide watch.
