Jessica talks with former Miss Chinatown 2011, Shirley Xiayi Zhang, about the upcoming Chinese New Year Festival. The festival, which is hosted by Los Angeles Chinatown, is one of the oldest and most recognized New Years celebrations in the U.S., drawing more than 125,000 for the weekend-long celebration.

The Chinese New Year Festival is Saturday, Feb. 16 from 12-8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb 17 from 12-5 p.m. in Chinatown’s Central Plaza and West Plaza.
