LA JOLLA, Calif. (KTLA) — Marine biologists from Sea World and San Diego lifeguards rescued a dolphin entangled in fishing line off the La Jolla coast.
A person who was kayaking in the area came across the distressed dolphin and called authorities.
Cell phone video shows rescuers successfully freeing the dolphin from the line.
Biologists said the dolphin would have likely died without their help.
