VAN NUYS, Calif. — A father is facing charges after he allegedly left his 2-year-old daughter in a truck while he went inside a strip club and got drunk.
24-year-old Santos Barillas, a Canoga Park resident, was charged with child endangerment among other charges.
911 dispatchers got a call just after midnight that the toddler was locked in the truck outside the 7557 Club on Woodley Avenue.
Officers arrived at the location to find the man asleep with the child in the back seat of the Toyota pickup.
The man was taken into custody and child services were called to assist with the care of the little girl.
Investigators interviewed several bar patrons and workers who confirmed the man was inside the club without the child.
The suspect was allegedly intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
The temperature had dropped into the 40s overnight in the area of the club.

Thank God he was caught now and not later when the child had some idea of what is going on. This a**hole is nothing but a selfish drunk…..me first,me first,me first….where's the mother in all this ? seems to me child services doesn't think she is capable or the child would have been returned to her and the father wouldn't be allowed access until he got some help to fix his drunken issues. In the end i hope this child gets adopted out to a nice kind caring family and is given the opportunity to have a decent life with a decent family !! This dummy is no father whatsoever, grow up !!

didn't think so, can't really see (not just this guy) getting his life back to the good life, maybe after many years of treatment, anger management and some serious alcohol treatment, by then she will be know who daddy is , (was) a drunk who left me in alone in a parking lot of a strip club, this little baby deserves a real family NOW !! She has not been loved and taken care of i would bet since day 1, this loser just got caught this time, thank God for child services !!
