Fire Rips Through Home in South L.A.
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Firefighters battled a raging fire at a home in South Los Angeles Tuesday morning.
The blaze broke out around 8 a.m. in the 100 block of 62nd Street just east of Main Street.
KTLA’s Sky5 was overhead just minutes after the fire broke out and captured the dramatic firefight.
Firefighters were in the face of the flames as they worked to cut holes in the roof to ventilate the house.
The fire was contained by about 8:30 a.m.
No one appeared to be injured in the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
