A local daredevil has come up with a very creative way to skydive.
Southern California base jumper Erik Roner was inspired by none other than Mary Poppins, and as cameras went along for the wild ride, Roner elected to add a truly unique jump to his list of favorite things.
Roner used a giant, specially-rigged umbrella during the freefall portion of his umbrella skydive.
But a word of fair warning: Roner’s jump involved careful amounts of science and strategic planning, and should not be imitated by amateur copycats.

So…. He didn't actually land with the umbrella.
